Beskrivelse

Kombinasjonen av den høye kragen og justerbare hetten gjør at du er godt beskyttet mot regn og vind. Jakken har nedbrettbare mansjetter med håndleddsvarmere for å beskytte hendene eller hanskene dine mot kulde og fuktighet. De to åpningsbare splittene med glidelås lar deg sitte i salen, mens jakken dekker rumpen ved ridning.

Jakken har en stor baklomme som er perfekt for oppbevaring av leietau, bånd, hanskene eller annet tilbehør. Lommen kan også gjøres om til en pakkepose som du kan brette jakken inn i.

10/10 Polyamide, 100% Polyamide Ripstop with shiny surface, PU membrane.
Durable and lightweight 2-layer Polyamide material. Polyamides are known for their durability and resistance to wear and tear. They are commonly used in outdoor and performance clothing. Polyamide is a lightweight material that is stronger than polyester in relation to its weight. Also referred to as Nylon. Ripstop construction with a shiny surface makes the garments more resistant to tearing and ripping. Printed PU membrane to provide high water protection and breathability.

Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.

Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.

Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

Insulation:

Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
