Uhip's passion is about those who face daily weather challenges and live an active life around horses. Our guiding principle is to create clothes made of functional materials, with smart features and with fashionable design so that you can do what you love with style.
It was with Ulrika Falkman it all started. Ulrika from Näsby Park founded Uhip in 2011 and it is her first name initial that is the U in Uhip. Ulrika is driven by making difficult things simple and her brain works much like a popcorn machine: a high activity where it is constantly smacked of new ideas. It started with the skirt and the unique solution with zipper front and back. Since then, it has continued with new smart and functional clothes that have made everyday life and riding smoother and better looking for Uhip's customers.
When Ulrika wants to go from idea to action, Elin Westergård comes into the picture. Together, they make a dynamic duo who loves to discuss ideas and take them to the design table,
where Elin is an expert. In comparison to car driving, Ulrika is the one who likes to press the
accelerator, and Elin is the one to put her foot on the brake. Elin is the one to ask questions like, " Are we really going to...?". And so it goes on until both of them are happy. Each product must
pass Ulrika and Elin's requirements before it can be provided with a Uhip logo. When they do
– we go all in.
A beautiful and balanced website is the next link in the chain. Martina Rosendahl is Uhip's web and IT manager and a passionate owner of two dogs who competes in agility. She makes sure our products are available on our webshops and other digital trading venues when customers arrive at our store in Täby. Martina makes sure all of our sites are updated with a fresh look.
When Uhip launches a product, Linda Janke plays the central role. Linda is Uhip's marketing manager. She makes sure that our fashionable and functional clothes are exposed on our marketing channels, such as social media, collaborators, team riders and digital and printed ads. Linda is Team Uhip's newest member and a dedicated horse-lover,
filled with joy, energy, and enthusiasm. Linda is an expert on Icelandic horses, and off work, she is committed to the Icelandic horse association.
To Linda and Martina's help, they have our fantastic marketing assistant Alice Mattsson. An excellent horse-lover who is a star when it comes to taking photos and managing them. Alice is involved in almost everything that comes to our digital platforms and put up marketing strategies together with Linda.
All the way from Gothenburg, we have Anna Ellmarker. She's Uhip's sales manager and keeps an eye on everything connected to sale och manages the contacts with our retailers across Sweden and the rest of the world. Anna sees a possibility where others see a problem. She loves to meet our customers and get their feedback to make Uhip even better.
When you, as our dear customer order a product from Uhip, delivery manager Jenny Nordlöw is there for you. She receives your order and ensures that it's packed instantly and that you will be able to pick it up as soon as possible. Like everyone in the Uhip crew, Jenny loves horses and has a history of elite-level showjumping.
In times of large order income, Jenny gets help, mostly from our excellent ''extra worker'' Sofie Malmberg. Sofie has been riding all her life and lives within cycling distance from our shop in Täby, and is a rock to lean on. When she's not helping Jenny, she works in our store and helping Maria with our customer service.
Usually, our ”housewife” Anne Staland works in the Uhip store, taking care of both you and our crew with her love and energy. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, Anne, who is 70+, stays at home for now. She is a real shop assistant, with a whole working career in various stores behind her.
Do you need help with your order? Did the jacket not fit? Whatever the question might be, our wonderful Maria Södergren is here to help you. Maria is in charge of our customer service and is Uhip's ''spider in the net'' and will do whatever she can to make you feel satisfied as a customer.
Thank you for taking your time – remember that summer is short but don't forget to celebrate that it's finally here!
