The Uhip autumn and winter coat made for children is, like any other Uhip garment, made with thoroughly tested materials and clever features such as twoway zip at the front and the high vent at the back, and of course it has elastic leg straps to make sure it stays in place when you’re enjoying a horseback ride in the cold or when you’re riding your bike to and from the stable. It also has a high collar adding comfort and warmth, a removable hood and the Uhip signature sleeve extension with thumbholes. Features that make your outdoor and horseback activities even more enjoyable.
The 365 Family is our most flexible and lightweight outdoor garments. Once you put them on the freedom of movement becomes apparent immediately. The super comfortable riding jackets, vests and thermal skirts in the 365 family are all fitted and offers great comfort regardless of weather conditions.
The synthetic down insulation has the same heating qualities as actual down. Thanks to the smooth and soft fitted cut 365 also works very well as an in between layer underneath a shell jacket.
The 365 Family members match in colour and style, making it possible to add or remove layers as you see fit. The colours of the 365 garments also match with their “cousins” 365 Hybrid and Wool Hybrid liners.
Light Polyamide 400,
Light but durable material made from Polyamide. Ripstop construction with a shiny surface that makes the garments more resistant to tearing and ripping. PA downproof Coating not only serves a functional purpose (downproofing) but also provides a glossy or shiny finish to the fabric.
Polyamides are known for their durability and resistance to wear and tear. They are commonly used in outdoor and performance clothing. Polyamide is a lightweight material that is stronger than polyester in relation to its weight. Also referred to as Nylon.
Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.
Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.
Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
