Urban Stretch Men´s Jacket Jet Black
New! The popular Urban Stretch Jacket is now available as a men's jacket. A sleek, slightly longer jacket made of stretch material that is suitable for both riding and activities around the stable. Despite being quite thin, the jacket's insulation keeps you really warm in cold weather. Additionally, the 10,000 mm water column membrane ensures you stay dry. With its sleek and functional design, this men's riding jacket is a complete autumn and winter jacket.
Description
The jacket has two large front pockets with flaps, both with side access. The sleeves are designed with wrist warmers, and the cuffs can be easily folded down to protect your hands from moisture and cold. When not folded down, they are secured with a button, adding a stylish detail to the jacket.
The insulation is a technical material with excellent warming properties due to its ability to reflect your body heat. The outer fabric has some stretch and features a membrane that resists rain and wind, and to ensure rain stays on the outside, the jacket has taped seams. The high, comfortable collar with a soft interior and the jacket's length trap the heat inside and keep you warm.
Add warmth with the Men’s Hybrid Jacket mid-layer during extra cold days.

Materials
Shell:
10/10 Recycled Polyester, 2-layer,
Material made from Recycled Polyester with Mechanical Stretch. TPU Membrane to provide high waterprotection and breathability.
100% Polyester
Polyester has exceptional colour resistance and retains colour intensity very well. Other benefits are its high tolerance to many chemicals and extremely low water absorption (for example, when you perspire, the material releases moisture into the air instead of absorbing it. Uhip is aiming to use only recycled polyester in future.
WP: 10 000mm
Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.
MP: 10 000g/m2/24h
Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.
Taped seams
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.
Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes of RUDOLF GROUP to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.
Insulation:
Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet conditions and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
