Ice Jacket Blue Graphite
This warm weather resistant winter riding jacket gives a sporty look with taped quilting. It is designed for active outdoor living regardless of the type of activity and weather conditions. Manufactured using a considerable amount of synthetic down insulation and a weather resistant fabric, it is perfect for someone who spends a lot of time outdoors, no matter what the weather conditions are like. To make sure you are visible in the dark, this winter jacket has reflective details on both sleeves as well as back and front.
The jacket has a snug fit. Choose a larger size if you´re between sizes or prefer extra room for layering. Don´t forget that proper insulation is achieved when there´s air between you and your outerwear.
The Ice jacket incorporates features that keep you warm and dry whether you are riding or carrying out stable chores. Some examples are the extendable sleeves with downfoldable endings that keep your hands warm, a high and cosy collar with soft fleece inside and the removable hood with a hidden adjustment.
A matching skirt is available to complete the look.
The Ice family consists of equestrian winter clothing suitable for riders who spend a lot of time outdoors. The garments keep you warm and endure precipitation.
Wearing the sporty Ice look you are made visible in the dark thanks to the reflective details in the design. All garments in the Ice family are closely fitted yet give you freedom to move around, and the width allows a mid-layer underneath. The width design also allows air to collect on the inside, which is heated by your body, making our garments extra warm and cosy.
For more information about the sizes - see the general body size guide.
7/5 Bonded Polyester 2-layer
Polyester Ripstop with a matt surface and bonded quilting. The TPU membrane will provide high waterprotection and breathability.
Polyester has exceptional colour resistance and retains colour intensity very well. Other benefits are its high tolerance to many chemicals and extremely low water absorption (for example, when you perspire, the material releases moisture into the air instead of absorbing it. Uhip is aiming to use only recycled polyester in future.

Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.
Breathability is often measured in a ‘g/m2/24hrs’ measurement. This rating represents the amount of water (or sweat) by weight that can pass through a square metre of fabric over a day.
Essentially, taping seams enhance the waterproof protection of clothing. Needle stitching leaves tiny holes in the garment through which water can seep when worn in wet conditions; taped seams prevent this from happening.
Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes of RUDOLF GROUP to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.
Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
