A light, soft and warm thermal skirt for cold, sunny autumn and winter days. The knee-length riding skirt keeps your legs warm even in the saddle – by opening up the two-way zip at the front and the zip at the back, you can sit in the saddle while the skirt hangs down and warms your thighs. Soft and light materials characterise the 365 Thermal Skirt without direct rain protection and is therefore suitable for those who like to ride on sunny days but stay in the riding arena when it rains.

The skirt fits true to size and features an adjustable waist for a perfect fit.

Description

The riding skirt is Uhip's true classic, which we invented with the aim of keeping the rider warm in the saddle without bulky coveralls. By opening up the two-way front zip and the zip in the back, you can sit in the saddle while the skirt hangs down and warms your thighs. The inside of the skirt is equipped with leg straps that can be fastened around your thighs to keep the skirt in place.

The skirt is easy to put on and take off with the two-way front zip. Thanks to the breakaway waist, there is no need to pull through dirty shoes; you can even take it off when you are on horseback. Perfect for taking off after warming up and putting back on when it is time to walk the horse.

Match with our 365 Jacket with the same soft, supple fit, and you have a flexible alternative to our long coats.

    About the 365 family

The 365 Family includes our most flexible and lightweight outdoor garments. Once you put them on, the freedom of movement becomes apparent immediately. The super comfortable riding jackets, vests and thermal skirts are all fitted and offer superb comfort, and the synthetic insulation has the same heating qualities as down. Thanks to the smooth, soft-fitted cut, 365 works very well as a midlayer underneath a shell jacket.

The 365 Family members match in colour and style, making it possible to add or remove layers as you wish. The colours of the 365 garments also match with their “cousins” 365 Hybrid and Wool Hybrid liners.

    Materials

    Shell:

    Light Polyamide 400,
Light but durable material made from Polyamide. Ripstop construction with a shiny surface that makes the garments more resistant to tearing and ripping. PA downproof Coating not only serves a functional purpose (downproofing) but also provides a glossy or shiny finish to the fabric.

    100% Polyamide
Polyamides are known for their durability and resistance to wear and tear. They are commonly used in outdoor and performance clothing. Polyamide is a lightweight material that is stronger than polyester in relation to its weight. Also referred to as Nylon.

    WP: 400mm
Water column is a way of measuring the degree of waterproofness in a garment to understand the garment's ability not to let water through. How high a water column a garment can withstand is also affected by how it is used; a harder and more active use requires more of the material. Therefore, we recommend regular reinforcement with impregnation to ensure the full function of the garment.

Bionic Finish ECO Fluorocarbon free DWR
Fluorine-free water repellent textile finishes to achieve water-repellent effects. Many plants have a natural water repellency. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO absorbs this effect so that we can use it for our products.

    Insulation:

Uhip does not use down in our garments, but we have used wool or synthetic fibres instead. The benefits of synthetic insulations are that they keep the heat even in wet condition and it dries quickly. The basic principle for all insulations is the same: small spaces in the fibres encapsulate body heat and keep you warm. The more air between the body and the cold, the more effective insulation.
